Kiwi Kumara Wins EBS September 2008!

New Zealand-based XL Member John Adolph won the coveted EBS Bali Challenge with his Kiwi Kumara Business Proposal. Congratulations John! John stated that 95% percent of New Zealand’s production of Kumara (sweet potato) is grown in the rich alivual soil of the Northern Wairoa, and at present, five businesses compete with each other for market share. Kiwi Kumara’s aim is to combine and unify the industry, where growers, workers and the whole community benefits. He aims to promote and deliver the huge nutritional value, unique taste and versatility of cooking styles for Kumara, known as one of nature’s culinary treasures.
